I was walking over to my friend’s house when I saw his dog. It reminded me of the first time I got my dog. We were driving and we saw a sign that said “Boxer pups.” So, we went over to the stand and bought him. His name is Curtis. He is the best dog a kid could ever have. Neatly brush brown hair is on his body, and his stomach is white with white paws. 10 years old is his age. Any time he saw someone new, he would jump around in excitement. Then after he started to play, I couldn’t help but smile. Curtis was the most loyal dog ever. You could tell him to jump off a cliff and he would do it! There was one time when he was only six years old and we just got a cat. Suddenly, we let the cat out but, Curtis was out there too. When the cat started to walk around Curtis saw him. As soon as possible the cat runs away as Curtis runs after him. Soon enough, they were in a showdown. With Curtis running very tiredly, the cat runs faster. Suddenly the cat turns around and leaves Curtis behind. Quick as a flash, Curtis turns around and chases after. Now running the other way, they start to run at the speed of light. Quickly the cat jumps over the fence. Painfully, Curtis is too late and bangs his head on the fence. Afterwards he was very dizzy. He wasn’t hurt so I started to laugh. Generously, I go over to him and help him up. Moreover, Curtis is my first and only dog. Therefore he is my favorite dog. Luckily, Curtis is still with us today and is lively and healthy. This is the story of my dog Curtis who is the best dog ever.
